Intuitive Hub is a visual media platform that allows surgeons to record procedures and store media for collaboration and learning. Capture and manage video, images, and audio with automation that makes it easier than ever to leverage visual data from your cases. Hub records, tags, and securely stores your video for efficient access, editing, and sharing. You can live stream your surgery, using telepresence for real-time case observation and mentoring.

Hub is vendor-agnostic, and its integration with da Vinci systems allows you and your team to focus on patient care. In addition, Hub is an integral part of expanding media and data capabilities unique to da Vinci systems—capabilities that continue to drive the future of robotic surgery.

Video capture with automation

Automated start, stop, and bookmarking sets Intuitive Hub apart. Surgical video setup is no longer an extra step for care teams and surgeons—as soon as your da Vinci endoscope turns on, Hub starts recording. Throughout the surgery, Hub automatically tags key events, including instrument exchanges and Firefly use. And care teams benefit from task automation when Hub is integrated with the hospital’s electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Hub also allows surgeons to add context to the recording. Manually add bookmarks, dictate instructions, make audio notes, mark up anatomy, or pause and roll the video back to check your actions.

Secure access, storage, and sharing

Create a library of procedure videos for your reference and to share with peers, surgical staff, and patients. After a procedure, access and review your media via a web browser, using bookmarks to quickly navigate so you can focus on analyzing crucial parts of the surgery.

Whether your storage solution is an on-premise server or in the cloud,¹ Intuitive ensures all video media and case information are protected in compliance with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations, in addition to individual data-sharing agreements.

Telepresence with Intuitive Hub allows live sharing of a procedure across town or down the hall using two-way audio and video. Schedule virtual collaborations with your colleagues, linking their OR to your computer or vice versa, inside and outside the hospital’s network to further enhance mentoring and proctoring.

Hub also supports streaming of your case within your hospital network so you can reach a wide audience of peers and trainees with live instruction. Use Hub’s features such as replay to review pivotal moments with the added benefit of real-time perspective.

Da Vinci X & Xi Surgical Systems
The Intuitive Surgical Endoscopic Instrument Control Systems (da Vinci X and da Vinci Xi Surgical Systems) are intended to assist in the accurate control of Intuitive Surgical Endoscopic Instruments during urologic surgical procedures, general laparoscopic surgical procedures, gynecologic laparoscopic surgical procedures, general thoracoscopic surgical procedures, and trans-oral otolaryngology surgical procedures restricted to benign tumors and malignant tumors classified as T1 and T2, and for benign base of tongue resection procedures. The da Vinci SP Surgical System is intended to assist in the accurate control of the da Vinci SP endoscope and instruments during minimally invasive endoscopic abdominopelvic, thoracoscopic, transoral otolaryngology, transanal colorectal, and breast surgical procedures. The system is indicated for adult use. It is intended to be used by trained physicians in an operating room environment.

The da Vinci SP Surgical System is a class IIb medical devices CE marked (CE 2460) under the European Medical Devices Regulation (EU 2017/745), manufactured by Intuitive Surgical, Inc. Refer to Instructions For Use before use.
