Unique patient cart design

The da Vinci SP patient cart provides 360° of anatomical access and the single arm design eliminates the possibility of external collisions and clashing of arms. Through one port, the da Vinci SP surgical system allows you to reach anatomy in all four quadrants of the abdomen without redocking.⁴

Fully articulating endoscope

See anatomy clearly and visualize tissue planes with a 3DHD, fully articulating endoscope. The flexible da Vinci SP endoscope allows you to see above, below,⁵ and around anatomy during a procedure.

Triangulation inside the body

Control three instruments and an endoscope through a single incision.⁴ Da Vinci SP instruments give you greater natural range of motion than the human hand and are designed with an elbow and wrist, so you can achieve distal triangulation inside the patient’s body. The system is indicated for adult use. It is intended to be used by trained physicians in an operating room environment. The da Vinci SP Surgical System is a class IIb medical devices CE marked (CE 2460) under the European Medical Devices Regulation (EU 2017/745), manufactured by Intuitive Surgical, Inc.
