Ms. Johnson is an experienced technology executive and board leader with extensive experience in high-growth global technology companies, specializing in go-to-market strategies, the sales channel, and business transformation. She brings to the Board deep insight into scaling technology companies, corporate governance, and strategic growth, with a particular focus on software innovation and commercial strategy in healthcare and life sciences.

Ms. Johnson distinguished herself as executive chair of the board of Author-it Software Corporation, a global provider of cloud-based content management solutions for life sciences and other regulated industries. Previously, she served as chair of the board of CalAmp, a software developer helping organizations monitor, track, and protect their vital assets, as well as MarketTools, a private software and services company providing industry-leading, comprehensive solutions for customer insights, where she also served as president and CEO for three years.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Johnson was general partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, where she focused on enterprise software investments and supported early-stage companies through high-growth phases. Before that, she was president of Baan Americas in the Netherlands, helping lead the global expansion of one of the world’s top enterprise resource planning software companies at the time.

Ms. Johnson also held senior roles at a range of technology companies, including ASK Computer Systems and IBM Corporation, where she gained operational and commercial experience in enterprise computing and sales management.

On the Board of Directors at Intuitive, where she serves on the Compensation Committee, Ms. Johnson contributes strong business acumen and expertise in delivering customer-centric and patient-focused technology solutions and services, supporting the company’s market expansion and product innovation.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Montclair State University and performed graduate work in computer science at the Stevens Institute of Technology, Graduate School of Engineering.
