Mr. Beery is an accomplished technology executive with over 30 years of leadership in information technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. He brings deep expertise in building and scaling complex IT systems across life sciences, aerospace, and technology sectors.

Mr. Beery most recently served as CEO of LunaDNA, a public benefit corporation focused on a privacy-first health data platform that enables individuals to manage and share personal genomic and health information in support of research. He led the company’s mission to connect communities, patients, and researchers through secure, participant-centered tools.

Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he directed global IT strategy and infrastructure modernization. He held the same role at Life Technologies and its predecessor firms, driving digital innovation to support genomics research, diagnostics, and laboratory automation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Beery served as Senior Vice President and CIO at both US Airways and America West Airlines, leading major technology transformations and post-merger integration efforts. Prior to that, he managed enterprise manufacturing systems at Motorola Semiconductor, building expertise in high-reliability industrial operations.

Mr. Beery serves on the boards of Rady Children’s Health System and the Rady Institute for Genomics. At Intuitive, he is a member of the Governance and Nominating Committee, contributing insight on cybersecurity risk, regulatory compliance, and scalable enterprise systems. He also advises several private ventures in healthcare and enterprise software.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Business Computer Systems from the University of New Mexico.
