Dr. Reed is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience leading integrated health systems, driving clinical innovation, and advancing strategic growth in complex care environments. She brings to the Board expertise in operational leadership, physician engagement, and care transformation across diverse populations.

Dr. Reed is president and CEO of UChicago Medicine AdventHealth, where she oversees the expansion and delivery of care throughout Illinois and the Great Lakes Region, including hospitals and outpatient facilities serving urban and suburban communities.

In her 28-year career at AdventHealth, she has served as chief learning officer, senior executive officer for care innovation, CEO of AdventHealth Celebration, chief medical officer for the Central Florida Region, and attending physician in obstetrics and gynecology. In these roles, she gained deep experience in strategic planning, operations, and organizational development and oversaw marketing and expansion strategy, managing $850 million in operating revenue. She also directed employee and physician development programs while improving efficiencies and integrating hospital and academic learning objectives within the organization.

She has led the development of advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery capabilities, overseeing thousands of procedures and establishing a multidisciplinary robotics institute to support surgical innovation and patient outcomes. Dr. Reed also launched an in-house innovation unit focused on cross-functional improvements in care delivery and clinical performance.

In addition to her health system leadership, Dr. Reed founded the Reed Consulting Group, advising healthcare organizations on clinical transformation, workforce strategy, and leadership development.

At Intuitive, Dr. Reed serves as the chair of the Compensation Committee, bringing decades of healthcare leadership experience. She has served on multiple boards, including Isleworth Healthcare Acquisition Corporation, and is known for fostering collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem.

Dr. Reed earned her M.D. from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at White Memorial Medical Center. She also holds a master’s degree in consulting and coaching for change from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
