Taylor Patton

Mr. Patton is a seasoned medical technology executive with extensive experience in global commercialization, product strategy, and clinical market development. He brings to his role a strong track record of advancing minimally invasive surgical care and building high-performing teams to scale adoption of novel technologies.

As global senior vice president of the endoluminal business unit at Intuitive, Mr. Patton leads the strategic direction and execution of the company’s Ion platform, which focuses on expanding the benefits of robotic-assisted technology to flexible endoscopic procedures. In this role, he oversees cross-functional teams across product development, clinical research, market strategy, and global commercialization.

Mr. Patton joined Intuitive in 2009 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the U.S. and beyond, including vice president of global new market strategy, leading the early market entry for Ion and da Vinci X platforms, and leadership roles across commercial, marketing, and clinical application engineering teams. His leadership has been instrumental in launching key platforms and expanding indications in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

Prior to joining Intuitive, Mr. Patton held commercial leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson. He began his career as an entrepreneur across various industries and working in investment banking focused on developing countries.

Mr. Patton is a frequent speaker at global MedTech innovation forums and has shared insights on the future of robotics, data integration, and the evolution of procedural care. He is recognized for his expertise in bridging clinical insights with technology strategy to improve outcomes for patients and providers.

He earned his B.S. in Finance from Denver Metropolitan State College.
